FDF (First Degree Fitness) created adjustable Fluid Resistance in 2000 and now manufactures a range of fitness machines for residential and commercial applications, based on its unique and patented ‘Twin Tank Fluid Resistance system’

The adjustable fluid resistance Twin Tank was launched in 2002 on the FDF Fluid Rowing Machine (FDR-01). Such a release challenged the conventional thinking of how water could be used to provide resistance rather than just adding momentum to a rotating flywheel.

In 2005, FDF released the world's first Fluid Resistance Upper Body Ergometer (UBE).

FDF continues to develop a range of Fluid Rowers for residential and commercial use, crafted with wood, steel, aluminum, and a combination of these materials. FDF created the popular GX Row for Life Fitness.

moreover, FDF has expanded the UBE range to include certified medical units, besides manufacturing the Upper cycle GX for Life Fitness. FDF’s fluid rowers replicate the sight, sound, and feel of real on-water rowing.
The instant catch and consistent resistance offered by FDF’s indoor rowing ergometers spread the resistance load more evenly over the muscle groups in proportion to their strength, optimizing the total stroke power and exercise benefit.
